Western Countries' Wrong Attitude towards US Blasted
Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- Western forces are improperly behaving toward the U.S. which is ridiculous enough to admonish this or that country, uttering its "human rights performance is a matter of concern" and it should strive to "improve its human rights record" whenever an opportunity presents itself. This wrong attitude comes under fire by a signed commentary of Rodong Sinmun Tuesday.

It goes on:

They are joining the U.S. in its human rights racket, keeping mum about its hideous human rights abuses.

Western countries have served the U.S. as their "elder brother" in the past but have not been properly treated by it. The U.S. ignored their will when deciding to launch military invasion of Iraq under the pretext of "eliminating WMDs" in disregard of the United Nations.

Under that situation the Western countries should have taken a proper approach towards Washington, well aware of its arrogant and self-opinionated mode of thinking which prompts it to engross itself in attaining its selfish goal in disregard of others' interests.

They are so mean as to seek their ulterior political aim under the pretext of the "human rights issue". They are calling into question "human rights records" of those countries strong in their independent stand, those countries which refuse to accept the Western-style view on value, political mode, while toeing the U.S. line.

They seek to internationally isolate these countries and put them under their control while kicking up campaigns for pressure and sanctions over their "human rights issues." The evermore noisier rackets kicked up by the U.S. and other Western countries over the non-existent "human rights issues" of other countries will only bring into bolder relief their sinister intention.

They would be well advised to mind their own business before imprudently talking about someone's "human rights issue".
