The bulletin in an article titled "General Kim Jong Il, Iron-Willed Commander" said that the Korean people held him in high esteem as supreme commander of the KPA on Dec. 24, 1991, adding that his personality as the great brilliant commander has been fully demonstrated for about two decades since then.

The most important feature of the mode of his commandership over the army is his energetic field guidance, the bulletin said, adding that he has paid endless visits to servicepersons despite heavy snowfall, rough sea waves and steep cliffs and went as far as to Panmunjom under the very nose of the enemy to encourage them.

Noting that his field guidance to the army is permeated with the love for servicepersons, the bulletin recalled that he took deep care of the soldiers' health and military service.

Praising Kim Jong Il as the brilliant commander endowed with matchless courage and pluck who brings the enemies to their knees without firing a single bullet, the bulletin stressed that the army and the people of the DPRK would always emerge victorious under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
