Massively hurled into this provocative war exercise which will last till Dec. 18 were fighter bombers and assault planes of the 51st combat flying corps of the U.S. Seventh Air Force present in south Korea and the 20th combat flying corps of the puppet air force.

This saber rattling frequently staged every year including the periods of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises is an extremely reckless play with fire aimed at mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK.

On Dec. 8 the U.S. imperialists and the puppet army hooligans staged a madcap combined aerial assault exercise in areas along the forefront in Kyonggi Province and Kangwon Province of south Korea, inciting a war atmosphere.

Involved in this war maneuver are nearly 1,000 troops and 28 helicopters of various types including Apaches of the combat flying brigade belonging to the Second Infantry Division of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces present in south Korea and the assault battalion and the flying battalion belonging to the Seventh Mobile Army Corps of the puppet army. This was an exercise staged under the simulated conditions of an actual battle for breaking through the Military Demarcation Line in "contingency" by boosting the "capacity for conducting a coordinated operation" between ground operation units and units for providing air support.

The U.S. imperialists and the puppet bellicose forces frantically conducted espionage against the DPRK by massively mobilizing spy satellites and various types of strategic and reconnaissance planes within the framework of the on-going war exercise.

All facts prove that the brigandish U.S. imperialists and the warmongers of the puppet army are talking about "dialogue" and "improved relations" with the DPRK but this is nothing but an artifice and they are, in actuality, watching for a chance to seize the DPRK by force of arms.
