Colored Granite Made
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Granites of diverse colors and patterns are drawing attention of architectural experts and people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

They have been used in the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition, Yanggakdo International Hotel and newly built buildings for decorations to give a formative and artistic representation.

Granite, abundant in the country, is colored by percolating a metallic oxide stable in terms of chemistry on the surface.

The colored granite, not affected by weather and other natural conditions, is also popular in foreign markets.

The coloring technology was presented by Pyongyang University of Printing.
