Seen there was a wreath from Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were O Kuk Ryol and Kim Il Chol, officials of armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions, officials of city-level organs and KPA servicepersons, the bereaved family and working people in the city of Pyongyang.

Wreaths, together with flowers, were laid in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, the Ministry of Capital City Construction and the Pyongyang Clothing Industry Management Bureau.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of O Jung Hup.
