Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, said in his speech that Kim Jong Il inherited and developed the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and has successfully embodied the Songun politics in all fields. Thanks to the Songun politics pursued by him, today the DPRK has turned into a satellite possessor and a powerful country with strong nuclear deterrent, recognized by the world, the speaker added.

He said that Kim Jong Suk was a bodyguard who devotedly defended Kim Il Sung and a revolutionary comrade-in-arms most faithful to him, mother of Korea who gave birth to the sun of Juche and a prominent woman revolutionary who devoted her all to the Korean women's emancipation movement, freedom and independence of the country and happiness of the people.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, said at the seminar that Kim Jong Il defended Korean-style socialism by containing the imperialists' offensive against socialism and the DPRK with the might of Songun, upholding the banner of the Juche idea and Songun.

He praised Kim Jong Suk as a great revolutionary who performed great exploits for the liberation of Korea, building of a new society and the cause of building the army.

The participants of the film show watched the Korean film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting held in Switzerland.
