The general secretary of an Italian political party noted at the meeting that Kim Jong Il has developed and enriched the Juche idea and the Songun idea as required by the new era and turned the DPRK into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, which stands undeterred by any moves of the imperialists for aggression by pursuing the Songun politics.

Saying that the successes made by the Korean people in building an economic power give strong impetus to the world socialist movement, he stressed that his movement would dynamically conduct activities in support of the struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people.
