The statement condemned Hyon In Thaek and his group of south Korea for more vociferously talking about the nuclear issue than anyone else, joining the U.S. in its nuclear row against the DPRK.

The DPRK's nuclear deterrent is not targeted against fellow countrymen but provides a sure guarantee for coping with the nuclear threat of the U.S., averting a war on the Korean Peninsula, preserving peace and security there and smoothly improving the inter-Korean relations, the statement noted, and continued:

The inter-Korean relations can never be improved as long as Hyon In Thaek is allowed to stay in the office as minister of "Unification".

The confederation expresses towering resentment at the treacherous and anti-reunification acts of Hyon and his group and will vigorously turn out in the actions to judge the traitors, it declared.
