Centenary of Kim Il Sung's Birth to Be Observed in Romania

| Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- A Romanian joint preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung was inaugurated with due ceremony at the building of the Romanian Socialist Union on Dec. 16. Present at the inaugural ceremony were personages and members of the Romanian Socialist Union, the Romanian Workers' Association, the Romania-Korea Friendship Association and the Romanian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain. Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Romanian Socialist Union, was elected chairman of the joint preparatory committee. The committee decided to work out a plan for holding colorful events till April 15, 2012 and carry it out. |
