The statement noted that the exploits performed by Kim Jong Suk for the independence of the country and the building of the Juche-oriented revolutionary armed forces true to the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung would shine for all ages with the victorious advance of the KPA.

Today the KPA with Kim Jong Il as supreme commander has developed into an invincible revolutionary army and all the victories won by the Korean army and people in the anti-imperialist stand-off and socialist construction are a great encouragement to the progressive mankind aspiring after independence, peace and justice, it stressed.
