In the period of the building of a new society she visited many places of the country including factories, farm villages, schools and nature-remaking construction sites without rest for the implementation of the line advanced by the President as regards the building of the Party, state and army.

In December Juche 34 (1945) she visited the destroyed Chongjin Iron Works (now the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex). She implanted the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu, the spirit of self-reliance, in the mind of the workers, saying if they had the same spirit as the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters displayed in making Yanji bombs themselves with bare hands in mountains to defeat the Japanese imperialists, they could rehabilitate the works.

When she called on a garage in the central part of Pyongyang in 1947, she told the workers to the following effect: We have lack of many things. So, we have to make things we haven't and economize things we have, overcoming difficulties, to build a new prosperous country as soon as possible.

In those days, she also visited the then Pyongyang Silk Mill, the then Kangson Steel Plant, the Puryong Metallurgical Plant, the Komusan Cement Factory and other factories and enterprises, giving a practical example in upholding the leader's ideas and line.

The Korean army and people have successfully frustrated ceaseless provocations and blockade by the U.S.-led imperialists, as they have possessed the spirit of defending the leader devotedly and the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu, following the example shown by her.

In the Songun era the country has witnessed many priceless achievements including the large-scale field rezoning of socialist cooperatives, long-extending gravity-fed irrigation waterways and change of farm villages into socialist fairyland. It owes all of them to the immortal feats of the heroine, who made the Korean army and people strong in faith and steadfast in defending the leader.

The whole army and people, as desired by her, will realize the cause of building a great, prosperous and powerful nation without fail under the guidance of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, holding high the banner of defending the leadership of the revolution at the cost of their lives.
