The article says that the above-said immortal exploits lie in that Kim Jong Il successfully accomplished the cause of perpetuating the memory of the leader, the supreme representative of revolutionary forerunners, strengthened the single-minded unity of the revolutionary ranks in the DPRK in every way on the basis of the noble sense of moral obligation and made sure that all the people eternally glorified the tradition of the advance for effecting a great surge, a legacy of the preceding generation of the revolution.

It notes that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the army and people of the DPRK to create a speed of the great advance for effecting a great surge in the drive for achieving the prosperity of the country and bring about a great leap forward and innovations in building a thriving nation by carrying forward the tradition of struggle established by the revolutionary forerunners.

It calls on all the party members and other working people to dynamically struggle, united closer around Kim Jong Il in thinking and purpose and in the sense of moral obligation, and thus emerge honorable victors in the on-going advance for effecting a great surge.
