Koreans can hardly repress the resentment at the Japanese government's attempt to teach even high school students distorted history and instill the ambition for grabbing other's territory into them in the wake of forcing such instruction upon the middle schoolers, the statement said, demanding Japan make a due apology and reparation for its past crimes.

The south Korean authorities should discard a humiliating diplomatic posture towards Japan and positively come out in the actions to pressurize Japan to redeem its past crimes.
