Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Peace in Asia and Education in History of south Korea made public a statement on Dec. 25 in demand of an immediate halt to the Japanese authorities' distortion of history, according to the south Korean CBS. Referring to the fact that the Japanese government decided to insist on the dominium over Tok islets in the "instruction manual containing high school curriculum guidelines" on social studies in Japan, the statement termed it an outright invasion of the inviolable territory of the Korean nation. Koreans can hardly repress the resentment at the Japanese government's attempt to teach even high school students distorted history and instill the ambition for grabbing other's territory into them in the wake of forcing such instruction upon the middle schoolers, the statement said, demanding Japan make a due apology and reparation for its past crimes. The south Korean authorities should discard a humiliating diplomatic posture towards Japan and positively come out in the actions to pressurize Japan to redeem its past crimes. |
