The Korean revolution has emerged victorious so far with the leader, the whole army and the entire people in perfect harmony.

The harmonious whole of the leader, the Party and the masses constitutes an eternal mainstay of the revolution which makes it steadily advance forward in any difficulties. The brilliant achievements made in this vibrant year have all originated from the great trinity.

In March the Korean army and people elected General Secretary Kim Jong Il to the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and then to the chairmanship of the DPRK National Defence Commission at the First Session of the 12th SPA.

This shows to the world once again that the Korean army and people trust in their leader absolutely and that the integrated whole of the leader, the Party and the people will last long in the DPRK.

The servicepersons and people of Korea, with happiness and pride of keeping Kim Jong Il leading the revolution, have made a great leap forward this year, believing in their victory.

Typical of this year's achievements adding lustre to the Songun era are the successful launch of artificial satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 and the construction of the Wonsan Youth Power Station, swimming complex of Kim Il Sung University, Kalma Theater, Taedonggang Tile Factory, Mansudae Street, Majon Hotel and Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm.

A new Collima speed, namely "Huichon Speed", was created in the construction of the Huichon Power Station and a remarkable progress has been made in the efforts for putting the national economy on a Juche-oriented, modern and scientific basis.

Many factories and enterprises have updated the production system to meet requirements of the IT era. In particular, the CNC technology has been fully grasped in the country and a steelmaking process based on a Juche iron production system completed, recording a signal event in the development of metallurgical industry.

All the above-said successes are what the Korean servicepersons and people have made with the same will and purpose under the wise and veteran guidance of the leader.

The DPRK will remain an indomitable socialist power forever, boasting of the harmonious whole of the leader, the Party and the masses.
