Ceremony Held at DPRK Embassy in Tashkent

| Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of Koreans in Uzbekistan took place at the DPRK embassy in Tashkent on Dec. 24 to lay a floral basket before the full-length picture of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army. Present there were Jo Yun Hae. chairperson and other figures of the Commonwealth of Independent States Regional Headquarters for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, compatriots in Uzbekistan and the DPRK ambassador to Uzbekistan and staff members of his embassy. Participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the picture and paid tribute to them. |
