Taking the lead in building a great, prosperous and powerful nation as standard-bearers of the Songun revolution, they completed the Nyongwon Power Station project and created a new Chollima speed called "Huichon Speed" in the construction of the Huichon Power Station with a heroic mettle and revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

In response to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to bring about a radical turn in the people's living, officers of the Ministry of People's Security and soldier-constructors under the ministry have finished the enormous project of the well-arranged Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm in a matter of months.

Soldier-constructors have also built the well-equipped Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory, Pyongyang Chewing Gum Factory, Pothonggang Shop, Taedonggang Tile Factory, a goat farm turning out various kinds of processed milk and so on to meet the requirements of the new century. They are now taking part in the construction of dwelling houses for 100,000 families in Pyongyang.

The newly built swimming complex of Kim Il Sung University, Honored Red Flag Sojung Secondary School in Rakwon County, Kalma Theater and Majon Hotel and reconstructed Pyongyang Grand Theater and tramcar track between Mangyongdae and Pyongyang Railway Station are all associated with the firm determination of the soldier-constructors to implement at any cost the intention of General Secretary Kim Jong Il to provide the people with better educational and cultural conditions. Now the construction of Pyongyang Folk Park and reconstruction of Kaeson Youth Park are progressing apace thanks to their devoted efforts.

Under the energetic guidance of Kim Jong Il the servicepersons have played a big role as main force of the revolution, blazing up the flame of a new revolutionary upsurge in the building of a great, prosperous and powerful nation.
