Placed before the statue of the President at the palace was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the WPK Central Military Commission, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

The participants paid humble reverence to the statue.

Recalling the revolutionary career of the President, they made deep bows to him who fathered the immortal Juche idea and built a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence in Korea through his energetic revolutionary practice, thus providing the eternal foundations for prosperity of the country and happiness of the people.

Commanding officers of the Korean People's Army, too, visited the palace on the same day.

It was also visited by anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, officials of ministries and national institutions, servicepersons and working people from all walks of life and the diplomatic corps, the military attaches corps and representatives of international organizations here.
