The messages and letters extended highest glory and the warmest greetings to Kim Jong Il in profound reverence on the occasion of the New Year.

They evinced their determination to consolidate the Chongryon organization as the ranks of single-minded unity with firm faith and pluck that it would surely emerge victorious only when it is under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, intensify the "movement to invite Koreans to come to the fold of Chongryon" into an all-Korean campaign to rally broad strata of Koreans from all walks of life around Chongryon and take an active part in the struggle to preserve and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration in the idea of "By our nation itself."
