| Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- Seminars, lectures, photo exhibitions, book and handicraft exhibitions and film shows were held in South Africa, Ethiopia, Malaysia and Russia between December 21 and 28 last year on the occasions of the 18th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 92nd birth anniversary of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk. On display in the venues were works of Kim Jong Il, photos on his revolutionary activities, books and photos of the Korean people in their struggle for building a great prosperous and powerful nation and handicraft representing the wisdom and talents of the Korean nation. Participants of the film shows watched Korean films including "Reply of Korea" and "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation." |
