The workers in the four vanguard sectors including the electric power industry and coal industry should effect a great surge in production by ensuring the maximum speed of advance in the drive for bringing about a great revolutionary surge and thus provide a foundation for developing economy and improving the people's standard of living, they noted.

They called upon the Sungri Motor Complex to push ahead with the work to introduce CNC technology and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex to perfect the fertilizer production system based on locally available raw and other materials to supply more fertilizers to the socialist cooperative fields.

They also called upon the officials and working people to wage a dynamic drive to glorify this year that marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea as a year of great changes to be specially recorded in the history of building a thriving nation, full of conviction of victory and optimism.
