The posters "Let us turn out to implement the tasks laid down in the joint editorial for this year!", "Let us record this as a year of great changes in the history of the building of a thriving nation!", "For a radical turn in improving the people's living!" and "Let us attain the cutting edge of science and make a leap higher and faster!" give an ideological and artistic depiction of the whole army and the entire people, determined to dynamically conduct an all-Party and nationwide drive for improving the people's living in all the economic sectors in the flames of a great revolutionary upsurge to make this a year of prosperity.

Also reflected in the posters was their strong will to bring about great changes in the efforts for the building of a thriving nation in the new year Juche 99 (2010) that marks the 65th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, in response to the appeal issued in the joint New Year editorial.
