S. Koreas' War Exercises Assailed

Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The first field army of the south Korean puppet ground force staged the so-called "exercises for coping with infiltration and provocation of a local war" with the mobilization of all its personnel at the dawn of the New Year's day under the pretext of fending off "enemy intrusions" to be made "simultaneously" on land and along the coast. Earlier, the third fleet of the Navy of the puppet army kicked off a fuss, detecting, tracking and seizing ships secretly entering Pusan Port in a coordinated operation with "the maritime police agency on the southern coast."

Commenting on this, a news analyst of Minju Joson Saturday observes:

It is a development which should not be overlooked that the south Korean warlike forces vied with each other to stage war exercises on the ground and along the coast at the end of last year and the beginning of the new year.

All the Koreans are exposed to the constant danger of war and the north-south relations are going from bad to worse due to such traitors who are working with blood-shot eyes to hurt fellow countrymen while kowtowing to the U.S.

The south Korean warmongers are hell-bent on the moves to further strain the north-south relations and ignite a war against the DPRK. But their confrontation with fellow countrymen will only lead them to destruction.

The army and people of the DPRK hope for national reconciliation and unity and the improved inter-Korean relations but they will never show any mercy to the warmongers who incite confrontation while defiling even the dignified system in the DPRK.

The south Korean warmongers had better behave themselves, bearing this in mind.
