This is a deliberate provocation to torpedo the process for improving the north-south relations by screwing up the tensions and a treacherous act to dampen the desire for national reconciliation, unity and reunification through war maneuvers targeted against the north.

What is needed in the north and the south is not war maneuvers but dialogue and cooperation for facilitating the process to warm the relations between them.

It is unpardonable for the south Korean military warmongers to persist in their provocative war maneuvers against the other party to dialogue, throwing a wet blanket over the efforts of the DPRK to achieve national reconciliation and unity and improve the inter-Korean relations. The war maneuvers kicked off by them are a clear indication that the south Korean authorities are set to persistently rush headlong into inter-Korean confrontation and war for aggression against the north in the new year, too.

The situation goes to clearly prove who is to blame for the hurdles lying in the way of improving inter-Korean relations.

Their act of steadily deteriorating the inter-Korean relations through confrontation and war moves cannot be construed otherwise than a foolish act of those who are unable either to assess the changed situation on the Korean Peninsula or foresee their future.

The anti-reunification forces of south Korea had better stop running riot, cogitating about the grave consequences to be entailed by their treacherous confrontation and war moves going against the times.
