The statement said that all Koreans in China should turn out as one in the sacred struggle for national reunification under the slogan "Let the entire nation unite under the banner of north-south joint declarations and achieve national reunification at the earliest date!"

The association will more firmly build up itself in keeping with the requirements of the developing era true to General Secretary Kim Jong Il's idea of Songun revolution and idea of overseas compatriots movement and arouse all Koreans in China to the patriotic drive for building a thriving nation this year, too, it said.

It stressed that the association would further strengthen the solidarity and alliance with all the reunification movement organizations at home and abroad this meaningful year marking the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration and the 30th anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and thus resolutely defend and implement the historic inter-Korean declarations while meeting all sorts of challenges of the separatist forces.
