Put on the stage were such colorful numbers of diverse genres as dialogic poem "Great Revolutionary Routine", female solo "We Will Hold Father Kim Jong Il in Higher Esteem", female quintet "My Country of Great Changes", witty talk "Let's Remember the Days of Soldier", serial songs "At a Breath" and "Push Back Frontiers of Science," poem and story telling "Rays of Light under Socialism and Glitter of Soldier's Eyes", drum and song "Song of General Mobilization" and chorus "Let's Become Seventh Regiment of Modern Type".

Through the performance replete with the revolutionary soldier spirit, the performers vividly showed the invincible might of the heroic KPA which has grown to be a matchless army under the care of Kim Jong Il and the firm faith and will of the servicepersons to devotedly defend the headquarters of the revolution and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche with arms under the leadership of the Party.

They clearly proved the validity and vitality of the WPK's policy of conducting performing activities of anti-Japanese guerrilla style by fully displaying the enthusiasm and mettle with which they have conducted militant frontline information service and frontline agitation at every post and drill ground to arouse servicepersons to perform feats in their struggle. They, at the same time, fully demonstrated the might of artistes of the army successfully performing their militant mission as honorable sentinels standing on the first-line of the ideological front.

Kim Jong Il expressed great satisfaction over the fact that they presented a splendid performance great in its ideological value and high in artistry with numbers of great cognitional and instructive value as they truthfully represented the inexhaustible mental power and noble traits of the KPA. He extended high appreciation and thanks to them.

He appreciated the efforts made by the members of the squad, noting that they conducted militant performing activities, sharing weal and woe with soldiers as befitting artistes of the revolutionary army, thereby instilling conviction of sure victory and optimism and fighting spirit and courage to annihilate the enemy into the servicepersons all out in the general march in the new year.

He set forth important tasks which would serve as guidelines for all art squads to more dynamically conduct performing activities as required by the era of Songun, noting that performing activities are an effective means for educating the servicepersons.

He was accompanied by KPA Generals Hyon Chol Hae and Ri Myong Su and other commanding officers of the KPA and Kim Kyong Hui, department director of the WPK Central Committee.
