S. Korean Warmongers' Saber-Rattling Flailed

Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- The 26th division of the south Korean army had staged five day-long provocative field mobile exercises in the area of Kyonggi Province since Jan. 11. In another development, the south Korean military decided to set up a "cyber command" under the "National Defense Intelligence Headquarters." The minister of "National Defense" raised a hue and cry over "the north's possible provocation," an oft-repeated trumpeting, and called for "taking thorough measures to cope" with it at the "New Year press conference."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Dangerous saber-rattling kicked off by the south Korean military is nothing but a grave provocation intended to escalate confrontation and tensions between the north and the south.

The south Korean military openly declared its scenario to vitiate the atmosphere of improving the inter-Korean relations with gun fire and continue rushing headlong into confrontation and a war of aggression against the north.

Obviously, the military bellicose forces of south Korea look like tiger moths embroiled in a war, ready to go through thick and thin to bar the inter-Korean relations from improving.

As the DPRK sets store by the inter-Korean relations, it will never pardon the south Korean warmongers for pursuing the moves for confrontation and war while making desperate efforts to push them to a collapse.

The ceaseless madcap military provocations on the part of the warmongers of south Korea would only betray their dirty true colors as wicked disturbers of the process for improving the inter-Korean relations.

Only history's stern punishment awaits the traitors going mad with confrontation and war, swimming against the trend of the times in the June 15 era of reunification.
