He talked about the efforts of the people to open the gate to a thriving nation by 2012 that marks the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Saying that to build a thriving socialist nation was what the President had intended and what the WPK has resolved, he underscored issues arising in making the country prosperous and powerful and improving the people's living standard as early as possible.

He then expressed his firm determination to carry through the behest of the President without fail to improve the people's living in a short span of time.

The officials were much moved by his deep concern for the people's living.
