Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration Called for

| Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The June 15 Single-minded Society for Reunification of south Korea made up of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, the Society of April Revolution and the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, etc. held a meeting in Seoul on Jan. 17 in which it expressed the will to take the lead in the implementation of the inter-Korean joint declaration. The participants of the meeting declared they would wage a dynamic struggle for achieving the independent reunification this year which marks the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration. Noting that the society would take the lead in the struggle for the implementation of the inter-Korean joint declaration, they demanded the authorities roll back their policy of confrontation against the DPRK at once and opt for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. |
