DPRK Holidays to Be Commemorated in Egypt

| Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The Egyptian preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 was inaugurated in Cairo on Jan. 15. Youssef Amin Wali, vice-chairman of the National Democratic Party of Egypt, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set the period from Jan. 15 to April 16 as a period of commemorations and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events such as seminars on works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, Korean book and photo exhibitions and film shows in this period. |
