Eleven events such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis, Taekwon-Do, shooting and seesaw will take place at the May Day Stadium, Taekwon-Do Hall and gymnasiums in Chongchun Street.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Vice-Premier Kwak Pom Gi, officials concerned, players and officials of ministries and national institutions.
