Marwan Sudah, chairman of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with Korean People and Supporting the Reunification of Korea in Jordan, was elected its chairman.

The preparatory committee decided to hold political and cultural events highly praising the great feats performed by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il for the country, the revolution and independence of mankind on the occasions of the significant Day of the Sun and the February holiday.
