Signature Campaign Launched in S. Korea

Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the People's Signature Campaign for Total Reexamination of Plan for Improving Four Large Rivers made up of religious, civic and public organizations of south Korea launched a signature campaign in Seoul on Jan. 21 to check the puppet authorities' environmental pollution.

The organization accused the "government" of high-handedly stepping up the project for the "improvement of four large rivers" even though it will cause water pollution, submersion of farmland and other natural environmental degradation.

The organization declared that it would check the authorities' environmental degradation through all-people signature campaign.
