It is intolerable that the south Korean authorities are standing in the way of national reunification, persisting in sycophancy, treachery and submission, in disregard of the destiny of the country and nation, the article notes, and goes on:

The reality calls for a nation-wide struggle for putting an end to the dependence on foreign forces, an act contrary to the trend of the times, in south Korea and bringing about a turning point in accomplishing the cause of national reunification by achieving national independence.

In order to achieve national independence and reunification, it is necessary to reject sycophancy and dependence on foreign forces and resolutely struggle against their aggression and interference.

All Koreans should have a will to oppose and reject the anti-reunification forces in south Korea engrossed in such treacherous acts as dropping a checkbar on the efforts for national reunification, while escalating the confrontation through sycophancy and dependence on outside forces and pave the way for independent reunification.

They should turn out in a patriotic struggle for putting an end to the above-said sycophancy and treachery irrespective of political view, religious belief, class, stratum and political affiliation.

Peace on the Korean Peninsula and national security and reunification can be achieved only through a resolute struggle against the traitors who throw an obstacle in the way of improving the inter-Korean relations and increase the danger of a war on the peninsula, taking advantage of foreign forces' hostile policies towards the DPRK.

All Koreans should hold higher the banner of "By our nation itself" in the movement for national reunification.

The united action of all the fellow countrymen rallied close in the spirit of "By our nation itself" provides a basic way for frustrating the moves of outside forces opposed to Korean reunification and the sycophantic and traitorous forces in south Korea in league with them.

Reunification means patriotism while division means treachery. The reunification is the only way out for the Korean nation.
