It is of very weighty importance in the improvement of the inter-Korean relations to significantly mark the 10th anniversary of the historic June 15 joint declaration, he said, adding:

The preparations to celebrate the day with splendor are now brisk underway. What is most important here is for the south Korean authorities to make sincere approach toward it.

The authorities should opt for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, far from persisting in barring the said relations from being improved while rejecting communications with the people.
