He made public a famous work titled "The Songun-based Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-victorious Banner of Our Revolution" in January 29, Juche 92 (2003) to formulate an idea and theory that the Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea is a unique political mode based on the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung and his exploits in the Songun revolutionary leadership.

Thanks to the Songun politics the DPRK has become an invincible socialist country, a political and military power with a strong war deterrent and the single-hearted unity, where all the sectors have developed in reliance upon the economic power with defense industry as its core.
