Joint New Year Editorial Supported in DR Congo

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Congo sent a message to the DPRK embassy in Kinshasa on January 20 in support of the joint editorial of the DPRK's leading newspapers -- Rodong Sinmun, Josoninmingun and Chongnyonjonwi -- titled "Bring about a radical turn in the people's standard of living by accelerating the development of light industry and agriculture once again this year that marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea". The message said that the Democratic Republic of Congo supports the DPRK's stand to put an end to the hostile relations between the DPRK and the U.S. and establish a durable peace mechanism on the Korean Peninsula through dialogues and negotiations and thus realize reunification of the country as clarified in the joint editorial. |
