Calling at a barracks, she asked an officer and duty private if the barracks was not cold and told the commander of the unit to take good care of the soldiers so as not to feel cold as all of them were as valuable as treasure of the country.

The commander was touched much by her deep concern for the soldiers' life.

After looking around the barracks, she watched sleeping soldiers one by one again.

Seeing a soldier sleeping, not fully wrapped with his blanket, she covered him with it in person, afraid that he might have a cold. She then earnestly requested the commander again to pay great attention to the life of the soldiers.
