Ri Yong Je, a department director of the Korean Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee, told KCNA that tens of thousands of Kimjongilia pots will be displayed in the festival. It will be participated in by organs of the armed forces, commissions and ministries of the cabinet, national institutions and many other units and people of all social strata including youth and schoolchildren, he said. It will also be attended by the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and other overseas Koreans' organizations, overseas compatriots and foreign organizations and individuals.

The festival theme is "Kimjongilia, Immortal Flower in Full Blossom under Songun Sun."

Stands have been prepared to be arranged in the venue and its interior and exterior facelifted.

The applicants for the festival are bringing into full bloom potted flowers even in the unusual cold.

Meanwhile, each province is also busy with preparations for a Kimjongilia show.

Kimjongilia flowers are opening at Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia greenhouses, too, throughout the country.

The festival will fully demonstrate the strong will of the Korean army and people to build a thriving nation without fail under the Songun-based leadership of Kim Jong Il, a peerlessly great man revered by all people.
