The Equatorial Guinean government will never forget the fact that President Kim Il Sung rendered positive support to the struggle for the independence of Equatorial Guinea and building a new society there, he said, adding:

The Equatorial Guinean government fully supports the principled stand of the DPRK government to put an end to national division and the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry calling for conclusion of a peace treaty, in particular.

We are convinced that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries will as ever develop on good terms.

The Equatorial Guinean government will do its utmost to boost the cooperation with the fraternal Korean people in politics and economy.
