The 19th International Figure Skating Festival for Paektusan Prize is to be held at Ice Rink located on the bank of River Pothong to celebrate it as a common holiday of all people over the world.

Famous figure skaters from the DPRK and other countries will take part in the festival from February 15 to 17.

A demonstration performance of synchronized swimming will be given by local girls at the swimming pool of the Changgwang Health Complex to add to the celebration of the holiday.

Also included in the schedule is a Paektusan Prize sports contest involving such events as basketball, volleyball, figure skating and short track speed skating.
