Wang courteously conveyed to Kim Jong Il a verbal personal message from Hu Jintao, general secretary of the C.C., the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, and presented him with a gift prepared by the delegation.

Kim Jong Il expressed thanks for this and asked Wang Jiarui to convey his regards to Hu Jintao. He had a cordial and friendly conversation with Wang.

Then he hosted a dinner for the guests.
