Story of Kim Jong Suk

Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- Early in January Juche 35 (1946), a woman who had participated in the anti-Japanese armed struggle visited Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine, in her house. At that time Kim Jong Suk was devoting her all to assisting President Kim Il Sung in his work and safeguarding him without rest after returning the liberated homeland. The woman suggested that the heroine find out her separated relatives since the country was liberated. The heroine, however, said to the following effect: I want to meet my relatives and friends. The Japanese imperialists were driven out from Korea but, in place of them, the U.S. imperialists are present in south Korea. With the reactionaries running amuck, the situation of the country has become very complicated. So, General Kim Il Sung is working hard without sleep. Under such circumstances, how can I leave to find out them without helping him in his work? I won't do it until the situation of the country is stable. I have only one mission of safeguarding him as I did before. |
