The performances were enjoyed by senior party and state officials, officials of working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

The performers enthusiastically sang of the immense joy of significantly celebrating the great auspicious day of the nation and represented the best wishes of all the servicepersons and people for Kim Jong Il in such numbers as narration and chorus of immortal classic masterpiece "O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee," narration and chorus "Native Home Covered with Snow", mixed chorus "He Has Loved February of Mt. Paektu" and poem and story-telling "We Will Hold Father Kim Jong Il in Higher Esteem".

Through poem and story-telling and song "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party", "My Country of Radical Changes" and other pieces they enthusiastically sang high praises of the undying feats of
Kim Jong Il who has brought about the era of big leaps and demonstrated the dignity and might of Kim Il Sung's nation with tireless leadership holding aloft the great banner of Songun.

Also put on the stages were numbers vividly depicting the thanks to the benevolent father and reflecting strong spirit of Songun Korea and the ardent enthusiasm of public servants.
