Present there were figures of the Unified Communist Party of Italy, the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Firenze City Office in Italy, the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, the Brazilian Communist Party and the Workers' Center and the Arab Socialist Party of Egypt and other people.

Osvaldo Pesce, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Unified Communist Party of Italy, in his report at the seminar highly praised Kim Jong Il as the greatest man who has devoted himself to the happiness of the Korean people.

The vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil in the lecture noted that the DPRK is pushing ahead with the building of a great prosperous and powerful nation despite all the sanctions of the imperialists and their moves to provoke a war thanks to the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il. He declared the party would extend full solidarity to the Korean people in their efforts to achieve national reunification and build a thriving nation.

Wahid Al Uksouri, chairman of the Arab Socialist Party of Egypt, said at the round-table talks that Kim Jong Il, creditable successor to the cause of President Kim Il Sung, has cemented the single-minded unity of all the service members and people and boosted the national power in every way by pursuing Songun politics, thereby turning the DPRK into an impregnable socialist bulwark. He expressed belief that the Korean people would win only victory in the future, too.
