Japan Accused of Evading Responsibility for Past Crimes

| Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps and other civic and social organizations in south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on Feb. 10 at which they chided the Japanese authorities' irresponsible attitude of evading their responsibility for settling Japan's past crimes. The organizations underscored the need for the Japanese government to take immediate measures for making an apology and reparation for its past crimes and demanded it open to the public all the documents related to the south Korea-Japan "agreement" and stop distorting history textbooks and working hard to grab Tok Islets. |
