He has turned the DPRK into a socialist state of Juche with invincible might and brought a heyday of the greatest prosperity in the nation's history spanning 5 000 years to this land, putting the dignity and national power of Juche Korea on the highest level.

Kim Jong Il established the Korean-style state leadership system with the National Defence Commission as the core as required by the Songun era, thus providing a legal and institutional guarantee for the Songun revolutionary leadership and placing the single-minded unity of the revolutionary ranks on a new higher stage. By doing so he enabled the service personnel and people to confidently advance along the road of Songun with a more powerful political weapon for putting spurs to the building of a rich and powerful country.
