Russian Figures Visits DPRK Embassy

| Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- S. Z. Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, O. V. Oleinik, president of the Russian Federation of International Charity Organizations "World of Goodwill" and officials of the federation paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK embassy in Moscow on Feb. 12 and 13 on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. They laid floral baskets before the full-length portrait of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and made bows. S. Z. Umalatova praised Kim Jong Il as the greatest leader and the sun of mankind whom all people look up to. She said that thanks to his Songun revolutionary leadership the DPRK has become a nuclear weapons state and the satellite-launching state that no power dares provoke it. The Party for Peace and Unity of Russia will fully support the Korean people in their just cause of reunifying the country and building a thriving socialist nation in the future, too, she noted. O. V. Oleinik said that Kim Jong Il is the most outstanding statesman of the 21st century and a resolute defender of justice and peace in the present era. |
