The proclamation of the programme on February 19, Juche 63 (1974) has made it possible for the Korean revolution, started in Mt. Paektu, to put itself on a higher level and make a steady advance, exalting the dignity and honor of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

In the course of implementing the programme the Korean servicepersons and civilians have grown to be Songun revolutionaries intensely loyal to the Workers' Party of Korea and the leader.

Kim Jong Il has developed and enriched the Juche idea, founded by President Kim Il Sung, to clarify the revolutionary world outlook to be possessed by them.

While guiding the Korean people to accelerate socialist construction in all its sectors, Kim Jong Il, with the same confidence and will, the same courage and mettle as the President's, steadfastly safeguarded the dignity and sovereignty of the nation in the teeth of the imperialists' intensified anti-socialist moves.

As a result, the DPRK has emerged as an invincible political and military power with strong war deterrent and had a lot of monumental edifices built across the country in the Songun era.

The Korean army and people will surely turn the country into a thriving one under Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership, upholding the programme of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea.
