The bulletin in an article said:

He was born as the son of President Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK, and
Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese heroine, in the secret camp in Mt. Paektu on Feb. 16, 1942 and grew up in the crucible of the great anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War.

He deeply studied the Juche idea founded by the President and authored a lot of works, developing and enriching the Juche idea in practice.

He firmly protected the sovereignty of the country under the uplifted banner of Songun in the 90s of the last century when the situation was the grimmest.

The DPRK is now standing as an invulnerable bulwark in the struggle for socialism and sovereignty as it is advancing under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea under his leadership.
