The organization in its written opinion recalled that since the emergence of the present regime the NIS has become evermore undisguised in its illegal acts.

The investigation into the enterprises supporting civic and public organizations, the inspection of those forces opposed to the "construction of a big canal" and the operation to woo figures from all walk of life to vote for "the amendment to the motion on the construction of Sejong City," etc. are just part of its wrong doings, it charged.

The organization urged the UN Human Rights Council to positively cooperate in the efforts to take measures for a halt to the NIS's abuse of power.
